Helping to raise the bar for endoscopy services

EndoRAAD is one of the HSE’s national solutions for an integrated endoscopy clinical information system, covering the complete endoscopy clinical workflow and documentation. EndoRAAD V 5.0 has been designed to help hospitals expand the boundaries of endoscopic medicine by strengthening performance, consistency and integration across the full endoscopy pathway.

The system supports:

  • Central management of endoscopy services with distributed controls and access across a hospital or hospital group
  • On line management of referrals (eReferrals and manual)
  • Overall waiting list management
  • Consultant triage and prioritisation of referrals
  • Electronic diary and appointments for all endoscopy locations
  • Management of DNAs and cancellations
  • Endoscopy patient workflow management from referral through to reporting and discharge
  • Creation of patient reports and all other clinical and nursing documentation
  • Long term electronic patient record containing all documents and images
  • Open, industry standard integration with other systems (EHR, HIS, NQAIS, Track and Trace, Theatre, OCM, RIS PACS, LAB and others, depending on local requirements)

Key components such as the EndoRAAD Server Worklist, EndoRAAD Client Worklist and EndoRAAD Caption Images have also been enhanced to support smoother workflows and high definition image capture from endoscopic cameras.

Managed rollout and hospital support

To ensure a smooth transition to EndoRAAD V 5.0, Manitex is project managing each hospital upgrade and providing a full suite of support services, including:

  • Installation, configuration and testing in the training environment
  • Support for hospital user acceptance testing
  • Recommendations on associated hardware upgrades
  • Refresher training for hospital staff, on site and remote
  • Support to review and optimise operational protocols
  • Review of requirements for implementing high definition image capture
  • Full support throughout the Go Live process

This structured approach is designed to minimise disruption, support clinical teams and ensure hospitals gain the full benefit of the new release as quickly as possible. As EndoRAAD V 5.0 is rolled out, Manitex is proud to partner with hospitals that are committed to enhancing the standard of endoscopy care and support  the ongoing evolution of healthcare in Ireland.
