Beaumont Hospital benefits from consolidating data definitions

The Diver Solution has been used for many years by Beaumont Hospital, and is consequently used in the majority of departments for reporting and analysis. In the summer of 2020, they decided to consolidate a range of data definitions within the various departments as part of the Mandatory Training project. 

The objective was to ensure that the data definitions were unified organisation wide, for instance, the data definition in the HR department should be unified with that of the Health and Safety department. Some reports and dashboards had become unusable because the data definitions had diverged.

The Hospital asked Manitex to execute the project to consolidate the data definitions, rectifying the associated reports and applying the latest rules for mandatory training staff exclusions, which had become urgent because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Beaumont Hospital, a large academic teaching hospital provides emergency and acute care services across 54 medical specialties to a local community of some 290,000 people.
